Returns and Exchanges

Requirements for Subscription Services

We do not accept returns on subscriptions or items included in subscription boxes. We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or missing from your shipment. If an item arrives damaged or is missing from your box, send an email to 4flashandtrash within 7 days of delivery and we will mail you a replacement item at no cost to you.  If the item is damaged, you may be asked to email us a photo of the item, which will be be used to improve quality assurance processes.  Replacements are approved at the sole discretion of Flash and Trash. All attempts will be made to replace your item with an identical or similar item. This means that we will make every attempt to match the color and/or variant of the item we are replacing. If an identical or similar item is not available, we reserve the right to offer you a choice between a non-identical replacement item of similar value.  

Flash and Trash is not responsible for damage that occurs due to weather, postal carrier handling, or which occurs after the postal carrier has delivered your package. 

Subscriptions are non-refundable. 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, replacement items will also be shipped directly to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, replacement items will be shipped to the giver's address. 

Items will be shipped to the address listed in your account. You have until the 1st day of each shipping month to update your address. After the 1st, we can not guarantee that your address can be updated. Requirements for Singular Items

Within 14 Days - You must request a return within 14 days of the product being shipped to you. Exchanges must be shipped back to our warehouse within 7 days.

Includes original packaging and product in new condition - Any exchanged product(s) must be returned in all of their original packaging, and in like-new condition. Flash and Trash may reject the returned product if there is damage to the product and/or product packaging.

If a product is deemed unfit for exchange, Flash and Trash will notify the customer that the exchange has been rejected and no refund will be issued to the customer. The customer can choose one of the following options:

  1. The product will be shipped back to the customer at a shipping cost;  or
  2. The product will be recycled.

If you do not select one of the above options within 14 days of Flash and Trash informing you that your return has been rejected, the product will be recycled.

Shipping - All orders shipped to the Continental US are eligible for free return shipping using a carrier that we’ve selected. Please follow the instructions below. We are not responsible for risk of loss or damage for returning a product during shipment. 

For orders outside the Continental US, customers must first contact us for suitable arrangements.

We offer full exchange of the purchase price for any order received in defective or damaged condition, or missing items, within 14 days from date of purchase. In the event you are missing an item from your order, please contact 



As long as your exchange adheres to the requirements described above, follow these steps to return your product(s):

  1. Please email with a detailed explanation of the need to exchange your item(s).
  2. After reviewing your email, we will reply with a return address.
  3. Drop the package off quickly, as there are 14 days to return and exchange the item(s).

We will receive and review the products you have returned. If the returned products have met all of our return policy requirements, we will process the exchange and send you a confirmation email. Please allow up to 5 business days for this process.
